How is my WPM calculated in this mode?
We use the standard formula where 5 characters equals 1 word. Your "Net WPM" factors in uncorrected errors. We encourage you to use Backspace to fix mistakes as you go!
Is punctuation included?
By default, this is a pure speed test (lowercase words only). You can easily enable Punctuation and Numbers at any time using the toggles in the top right of the test container above.
